Great races don't happen without great volunteers! Join our Course pour les Femmes PHARMAPRIX AIMEZ. VOUS. volunteer team and help make a difference in the lives of women across Canada.
All volunteers will receive a cool volunteer shirt. All volunteer positions are open to high school students in order to collect community service hours.
There are lots of ways to get involved both before the race and on race day. We need help with: pre-race kit pick up, race day kit pickup, water stations, route marshals, start/finish line, food and lots more. On-Course Volunteer Positions
Course Marshal (20 positions):
Volunteers will be spread throughout the course to provide athletes with directions and will act as our primary cheerleaders and motivators.
Water Stations (18 positions):
Volunteers will assist in the set-up of their designated water station, and will hand out water to participants as they pass the station.
Pre-Race Volunteer Positions:
Race Kit Stuffing:
In the week prior to the race, there will be “Race Kit Stuffing” shifts, where volunteers will help us stuff race kits and swag bags!
Race Kit Pickup:
For three days leading up to the event, Volunteers are needed to help distribute race kits to participants.
Main Event Site Positions:
Our main event site requires volunteers to fill various positions. Volunteers will be expected to arrive a few hours before the event begins and stay until the event is finished.
General Set-Up (6 positions):
Those who choose general set-up will also be assigned another shift after set-up us complete. Set up volunteers are required onsite 3 hours before event start time to help set up all materials, signage, tents, etc.
Bag Check (2 positions):
Volunteers will help participants check their bags at the designated bag check area, and monitor the bag check area during the event.
Start/Finish Line (6 positions):
Volunteers will help with the flow of the entrances and exits around the Start/Finish line. In addition, they will assist in the distribution of water and finisher’s bracelets.
Food Area (6 positions):
Volunteers will help with the set-up and distribution of food and beverage products for runners after the race.
Information Tent (2 positions):
The volunteers who are at the information tent will need to have an understanding of the race site layout. Volunteers will help answer participant’s questions, and direct participants to the organizers of the event if necessary.
Swag Bag Distributer (4 positions):
Volunteers at the Swag Bag area will assist in the distribution of Swag Bags to all participants at the end of the event.
Photo Wall (2 positions):
Volunteers positioned at these stations will assist the photographer by encouraging participants to dress up and take photos at the photo wall.
Monster Mural (2 positions):
Volunteers will encourage and assist participants in signing the monster mural
