You will be asked at Race Kit Pick Up if you will be running or walking the 5K. If you are going to walk and run (combined), please go in the 5K Run group.

Suggested Arrival Time: 7:45 a.m.

To have the most enjoyable race day experience, please give yourself plenty of time before your race. Factor in timing for: getting to the event site, parking, toilet use (which may include wait time), getting into your start corral, deep breathing and getting into your groove!

Parking Information

Participant parking is located in the Edmonton Zoo parking lot, at the back, nearest the Run for Women event site. There is also parking in the grass lot on 132 St NW. To enter the grass lot, follow the round-about off Buena Vista Road NW to the 3rd exit. Both areas are self-park.

Virtual Participation Information

What do I get with my Virtual registration?

With your Virtual registration, you will receive a Technical T-shirt, Bracelet, our Legendary Swag Bag and FREE Home Delivery of your race kit.

How does a virtual walk/run work?

A virtual walk/run can be completed from anywhere, anytime before or on the in-person event day. You can walk/run your own route at your own pace. Do what you feel comfortable doing. The most important thing is that you are participating to support women’s mental health programs in your community while being active.

When can I complete my virtual walk/run?

The deadline to complete your walk/run and submit your virtual results is May 25, 2024.

Do I need a bib number to participate?

No, you are not required to wear your bib (which will be delivered to you with your Race Kit). However, we encourage you to wear your bib if you're taking pictures and posting on social media!

How do I record my walk/run time?

The Wednesday before the event (May 22) you will receive an email with your timing link where you can submit your time. To track your time, use any of your favorite timing apps. You will have the option to submit your walk/run results through the personalized link that will be emailed to you.

Do I have to walk/run the full distance at one time?

As long as you fully track your walk/run and complete the distance you've registered for before the submission deadline, you are welcome to take breaks or split up your distance over more than one day.

How can I share my accomplishments and photos?

You can share your photos, accomplishments, pre-event training and support for the event with our community online by tagging us on social:
